Yangon – Pebsteel Myanmar officially held the grand opening ceremony for its first factory in Myanmar on March 29, 2019, at Pullman Hotel. The ceremony was solemnly held in the presence of representatives of local authorities, investors, constructors, consultants, and executive members of Pebsteel Myanmar.
Located in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (TSEZ), the 30,000-m2 factory with a total investment of $25 million will be equipped with the latest advanced technologies and designs to reach a monthly capacity of 3,000MT for steel structures.
The plant will be headed by an excellent team of engineers and supervisors, with more than 335 qualified workers, to ensure the production of top-quality products, and contribute to the quality of construction in Myanmar.
Pebsteel Myanmar opened its first representative office in Yangon in 1998. For more than 20 years supplying products for more than 160 projects, Pebsteel Myanmar factory is expected to meet the growing demand for pre-engineered buildings (p.e.b.) in the country and in overseas markets such as the Philippines, Western Asia, and Africa.
